Lamp
Title page rendered in Keyshot.

A bright light ruins a good campfire.

This project aims to fix that.
Lantern Journey Map

1. The sun goes down. Take the lantern out.
2. Start a fire. Turn the light off.
Problem:
3. You use the light to access food and supplies, but ruin the ambiance of the fire.
4. Fire ends. Bring the light back out.
5. Use the light to get situated in the tent. Hang the light from the roof. Go to sleep!
The Problem
A bright lantern distracts from the campfire experience
The Question
How can a camper navigate a dark campsite while maintaining a nice campfire experience?

Starting with a rectangular shape, I explored a variety of shapes until I found a form that was friendly and inviting.
This step was done in tandem with 3D modeling.
