Weekender Bag

The focus of this bag was to create the pattern completely digitally before starting on the first prototypes. This sped up my workflow so much I'm never going back.

The Question

How can we make a bag that is compact for the work week and expandable for traveling on the weekend?

Modeling

Gravity Sketch

I chose to model this bag in Gravity Sketch because I wanted a more immersive way to visualize the bag I was making. The intuitive controls and speed of modeling makes this my preferred way of patterning.
